“‘Death of A Cocaine Cowboy’ stands as my most personal and mature work to date; the song itself fell together in what felt like minutes. In some strange way I see it as a sequel to my song ‘Star.’ It laments the trials and tribulations of being a ‘character’ and details my lifelong struggles with addiction — both internal and external — without preaching or judgment. The evolution of my sound that began with 2025’s ‘Tethered’ is on full display here. I can’t wait to share this song with everyone… it is even more ridiculous than you expect!”
